Deep ruby red in color. Appassimento drying for about 3 months. Fermentation is halted to preserve residual sugar.
The aroma is dominated by black cherry, fig, plum, and blackberry, complemented by raisins, herbs, cardamom, and cocoa, with a velvety texture and refined tannins.
The palate is richly sweet yet fresh and balanced; fruity and warm. The finish is long, with a chocolatey and spicy aftertaste.
Pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel desserts, and is ideal as a meditation wine. We recommend serving it with chocolate cake, brownies, and plum desserts.
