Deep amber in color with orange undertones. A single-origin batch, traditionally distilled in the Charente region, aged for a long time in humid coastal warehouses, minimally filtered, and produced without excessive intervention.
The aroma is dominated by orange peel, dried peach, and fig, complemented by iodine, a briny sea saltiness, and dry wood, as well as black tea, spices, a resinous nuance, and a hint of smokiness.
The palate is dry, intense, mineral, and well-structured. The finish is very long, salty and spicy, with a slightly bitter note.
Pairs well with oysters and cigars. We recommend serving it with seafood, grilled fish, and aged cheeses.
