Deep garnet red in color. Hand-harvested. Long maceration on the skins. Fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aging in oak barrels.
The aroma is dominated by black plum, blackberry, and black cherry, complemented by cocoa, tobacco, and spices, as well as leather, balsamic notes, and a hint of smokiness.
The palate is full-bodied and robust, with ripe tannins and lower acidity. The finish is long, intense, and warm.
Pairs well with grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses. We recommend serving it with beef, lamb, BBQ, and roasted meats.
