Deep ruby red in color with violet hues. Hand-harvested. Fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged in oak barrels to achieve greater structure and depth.
The aroma is dominated by ripe plum, black cherry, and red currant, complemented by violet, dried herbs, and a hint of smokiness, as well as vanilla, chocolate, and spices.
The palate is full-bodied, with high acidity, low tannins, and a juicy texture. The finish is medium to long, with a fresh and slightly spicy aftertaste.
Pairs well with pasta dishes, grilled meats, and Italian cuisine. We recommend serving it with lasagna, pasta with tomato sauce, beef, and roasted vegetables.
