Deep ruby red in color with violet hues. Traditional vinification. Fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks. Aging in oak barrels for ~16–18 months.
The aroma is dominated by black cherry, black currant, and plum, complemented by honeysuckle, violets, and a hint of herbaceousness, as well as vanilla, toasted oak, spices, and cocoa.
The palate is dry, with a medium- to full-bodied structure; it is very silky and elegant, with good acidity and soft, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long, smooth, and harmonious.
It pairs well with red meat, poultry, and aged cheeses. We recommend serving it with beef steak, duck breast, lamb, grilled chicken, and a cheese platter.
