Deep ruby in color with violet highlights. A second wine. Aged in French oak barrels.
The aroma is dominated by blackberry, black currant, and red berries, complemented by floral notes, vanilla, spices, dark chocolate, leather, and tobacco leaf; it is aromatic, round, and well-balanced.
The palate is medium-bodied to full-bodied, with soft tannins. The finish is medium to long, with a juicy and slightly spicy aftertaste.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, duck, and veal. We recommend serving it with beef tenderloin, roast lamb, duck breast, and roast veal.
