Light garnet red in color. Long finish. Aged in large oak barrels and, in part, in barriques.
The aroma is dominated by red cherry, raspberry, and dried cranberry, complemented by rose, violet, and herbs, as well as licorice, tar, pepper, and minerality.
The palate is fuller than average, very structured, with high acidity and strong tannins. The finish is very long, elegant, and intense.
Pairs well with game, truffles, and aged cheeses. We recommend serving it with beef, lamb, mushroom risotto, and stews.
