Le Brun de Neuville L’Autre Côte Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Magnum is an elegant and expressive Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Grapes from Grand Cru vineyards give the wine its characteristic minerality, freshness and fine structure. The region’s chalky soil helps shape the Champagne’s nuanced and elegant character, weaving together fruit, lively acidity and mineral notes. The Champagne is pale golden yellow in color, with fine and elegant bubbles. On the nose, white flowers, fresh citrus and green apple come through, complemented by nuances of ripe pear, brioche and a delicate bakery note. On the palate the wine is dry, fresh and finely textured. The lively acidity typical of Chardonnay intertwines with chalky minerality and light creamy nuances, creating a balanced and layered tasting experience. The finish is clean, refreshing and elegant, bringing out citrus and mineral notes. This Champagne is excellent as an aperitif and with oysters, seafood, scallops, fresh fish and finer appetizers. It also goes well with fish dishes in lemony sauces and creamy seafood dishes.
A magnum bottle holds 1.5 liters, the equivalent of two standard bottles of Champagne. The larger format generally lets the wine age more slowly and evenly, and it is perfect for festive occasions and sharing with good company.
