Dark amber in color with bronze hues. Selected from small batches (single cask, limited assemblage), traditional Charentais distillation, long aging in old oak barrels, minimally processed (unfiltered or lightly filtered style).
The aroma is dominated by dried orange peel, figs, and plums, complemented by tobacco, leather, and old wood, as well as cocoa, black tea, spices, and a slightly smoky nuance.
The palate is drier, structured, intense, and complex. The finish is very long, dry and spicy, with a slightly bitter note.
Pairs well with cigars and dark chocolate. We recommend serving it with game meat, duck liver, and baked mushrooms.
