A wine of deep ruby red color, whose character weaves together dark berries, a pleasant spiciness and a light herbal touch. The wine is made using a traditional method, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by a short maturation in steel tanks or neutral oak casks, which helps preserve the wine’s fresh and fruity character. On the nose, blackcurrant, plum and ripe black cherry come through, complemented by notes of black pepper, herbs and tobacco. In the background there is also a light vanilla and spice, giving the wine pleasant nuance. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied and well balanced. Moderate tannins and fresh acidity bring out its berry character and make the wine pleasantly easy to enjoy. The finish is medium in length, berry-driven and lightly spicy. An excellent match for grilled meat, pasta and a variety of cheeses. It pairs especially well with beef, pasta in tomato sauce, burgers and semi-hard cheeses.
