The aroma is dominated by dried cherries, plums, roses, and spices, complemented by cinnamon, cardamom, citrus zest, and herbs, as well as bitter Chinese bark, vanilla, and licorice. The flavor is warm, full-bodied, sweet, and aromatic, with a velvety texture. The finish is long, spicy, and pleasantly bitter. Pairs well with dark chocolate, cigars, and as a digestif.
