Deep ruby red in color. Fermented in lined concrete tanks. Aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.
The aroma is dominated by cassis, blackberry, black currant, and red fruits, complemented by anise, spices, vanilla, herbs, flowers, and a hint of leather, along with the classic Médoc structure, freshness, and refined tannins.
The palate is medium-bodied, structured, and elegant. The finish is long, dry, and has a slightly spicy aftertaste.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, game, and hard cheeses. We recommend serving it with entrecôte, roast lamb, duck breast, and Comté.
