Deep ruby-garnet in color. Aged for about 16 months in oak barrels, approximately 40% of which were new. Biodynamic, organic farming practices.
The aroma is dominated by black currant, black cherry, blackberry, and crushed strawberry, complemented by tobacco, cedar, tar, spices, herbs, and olive, along with classic Pauillac character, precise acidity, and grainy tannins.
The palate is fuller than average, robust, and elegant. The finish is long, voluminous, and dry.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, game, and hard cheeses. We recommend serving it with ribeye, roast lamb, venison, and Comté.
