Deep garnet-ruby in color. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete tanks. Aged for 12–14 months in French oak barrels, approximately 40% of which are new.
The aroma is dominated by blackberry, black currant, and red berries, complemented by tobacco leaf, green pepper, chocolate, coffee, nutmeg, and cedar, along with the classic old-school Médoc structure and freshness.
The palate is full-bodied, dry, robust, and features silky tannins. The finish is long, with a slightly chewy, tobacco-like, and spicy aftertaste.
Pairs well with beef, game, lamb, and aged cheeses. We recommend serving it with beef cheek, roast lamb, venison, and Comté.
