Color ranges from dark violet to deep ruby red. Cru Classé. Aged in oak barrels.
The aroma is dominated by black cherry, blackberry, and plum, complemented by notes of violets, dried sage, cypress, and peppercorns, along with woody nuances and fresh acidity.
The palate is dry, full-bodied, youthful, and concentrated, with strong yet refined tannins. The finish is long, spicy, and fresh.
Pairs well with red meat, cured meats, lamb, and game. We recommend serving it with rack of lamb, daube provençale, and grilled beef.
