Deep ruby red in color. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation in tank. Aged for 12–14 months in French oak barrels, approximately 30% of which are new.
The aroma is dominated by black currant, raspberry, blackberry, and strawberry, complemented by notes of violet, cocoa, toasted bread, pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, cedar, and tobacco, along with freshness, minerality, and classic Bordeaux structure.
The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, balanced, and slightly robust. The finish is of good length, with a fruity and slightly toasty aftertaste.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, duck, and hard cheeses. We recommend serving it with entrecôte, roast lamb, duck breast, and Comté.
