Our Story
R14 is a wine restaurant that grew out of a collaboration with our excellent partner, Rein Kasela’s Veinitoa, with the aim of offering culinary experiences to lovers of fine wine and good food.
We’re located in the former power plant of the Rotermann Quarter, which once supplied electricity to the entire surrounding area. The cozy and stylish interior of the wine restaurant places special emphasis on materials and color schemes, allowing the historic details of the limestone building to shine and stand out.
We are proud of the flavors and wine pairings at our wine restaurant, created through the harmonious collaboration between our talented head chef, Helen Andema, and our sommeliers. The dishes at R14 are characterized by clean, contemporary flavors inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.
We want every guest to feel welcome here and to enjoy professional service and a relaxed atmosphere.
As one of the largest restaurants in Tallinn, we can host a variety of events, receptions, or parties. In addition, we offer wine classes, wine tastings, and the opportunity to purchase your favorite wines to take home.
